Checkmate AC is the top of the line when it comes to getting my AC fixed. I had another company almost charge me $12,000 to get my AC "replaced" because its a "Old" unit. I don't think the guy even tried to look at my AC before trying to make me sell an arm and a leg but it had been running fine for years! So when Checkmate showed up with their technician Zack he immediately reassured me that it was nothing close to that price range to repair to my "outside fan motor". He was professional and courteous and took the time to ask my history with my AC and any issues I had before. I told him everything and THAT SAME DAY he got my AC back up and running! Compared to some sales guy just trying to make me sell my soul away, I was surprised how quick he got me cold air that same day! and he even washed and cleaned my outside unit too! Checkmate AC is where a professional repair men will help FIX your AC unit and not some sleezy salesman trying to rip a buck off from you. I would gladly call them again. Zach was very knowledgeable and informative about my unit, he made me feel very comfortable with his work and expertise. On top of all that l could not believe how affordable they were. Definitely recommend. He was sent by the rental company. Zach updated me on each step. As he was replacing the compressor within 24 hours, it began to downpour. He diligent continued. Now that’s service!! I am an old Navy veteran so I needed the AC working. I was starting to experience heat exhaustion from not having AC.
